It is a new year and with it a new NAN auction ... I am slowly preparing my
auction piece for this year . It will no doubt be fully hand carved and unique . I
am running a poll currently with five saddles that are on my long list of to do
saddles to see what the public is looking for right now . So I will start in
adding in progress photos as soon as the poll is over on the 25th of
January .

Well , guess what ladies ! I have
started my Nan piece , woo hoo ! The
set has just not been calling me but
the other night I got the itch ... I had
a very special saddle in mind . Of
course it is another saddle by the very
Amazing Harris Leather tack makers
so I felt I needed to wait for the
moment to happen so I did this piece
justice ! I am trying to do a step by
step of this so bear with these photos .

Okay so I know it is not exact and the
reason for that is I felt the bottom
skirt would look better with the large
black imitation ostrich skin so my
carving could stand out better with it
on the top skirt .

Okay... So , I got a little carried and did not
document as well as I had planned . This is it ,
now I will start assembly on it and hope I am
satisfied . I am pushing it awfully close to the
deadline . It is May 23rd so I only have a few
more days , fingers crossed !!
